Hand on Heart mission is to keep children safe and help prevent the deaths of 12 young people who die of sudden cardiac arrest each week in the UK

The aims of Hand on Heart are;

• Raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest, particularly in the young

• Fund defibrillators for schools and communities

• Educate young people in Life Support Skills

Since Hand on Heart became a charity in 2012, we have placed over 1000 defibrillator packages into schools and communities across the UK, trained over 9,325 staff on the use of a defibrillator and given basic life support skills to more than 38,000 pupils.

Moreover, we successfully protect more than 300,000 hearts daily in schools across the UK that have defibrillators on site!

 Following our very successful, 2017 UK Heart Safe Awards, we are now looking for new sponsors and supporters to be a part of this year’s awards, which will take place on Friday 26th October 2018.
